50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon

Situated on purely gravel soil close to Château Haut-Bailly, this estate has been doing very well since 1998 when M. and Mme Gervoson took over the winemaking, advised by Michel Rolland. It is a small estate, but governed according to the most exacting standards.

The red wine from this château has a meaty, even slightly medicinal nose, but is very interesting. Well balanced with taut tannins which will need some time to come around. Nice concentrated fruit. 8-15 years.
