Pessac-Léognan Cru Classé. Red: 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Cabernet Franc

Owned by the Bonnie family, this estate has invested heavily in a state of the art cuverie and the results are astonishing. Though the white winewas spectacular this year, the red was also very good indeed, modern, but not too extracted, more on the elegant side.

A beauty with smooth, elegance and not too tannic entry, but a lot of new oak which will need time to mellow and integrate with the generous fruit. 5-15 years.
