50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

An expressive nose with touches of perfectly ripe soft fruit and nuances of autumn leaves, which blend superbly with the fragrances of cigar box and vanilla.

This delightful property in the village of St Saveau in the Haut Medoc was established in the 18th century. It was originally three properties but following the last war, it was grouped into the one estate you see there today under the ownership of the French Insurance Company Masif. There has been major investment here in recent years, not least in the beautiful chai which houses 1200 barrels, 300 of which are purchased new every year.
